We've been working on our own home improvement project — we're delighted to reveal a brand-new look for homebuilding.co.uk, the leading website for self builders, renovators and extenders.

Homebuilding & Renovating has been helping self builders, renovators and home improvers create their dream homes for the last 30 years. The brand has evolved over the three decades and, in addition to Homebuilding & Renovating magazine and the Homebuilding & Renovating Shows, homebuilding.co.uk has played a fundamental role in helping us to help you with your projects, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

So whether you’re tackling DIY projects around your home, overhauling your kitchen, adding space and value by extending your existing property, or building a new home from scratch, you’ll find everything you need to know under one roof.

A Brand-New Look

In addition to a fresh new look, our improved navigation bar is designed to help you get the most from homebuilding.co.uk:

  • You'll find everything from advice on creating a new bathroom, to building foundations, and all you need to know about planning permission, in our Expert Advice section.
  • Whether you require guidance on buying the right flooring or, on specifying bricks, you'll find it in our Buying Guide section.
  • If you’re in need of design inspiration, we’ve curated a series of stunning galleries — from the latest open-plan kitchens and home office ideas, to striking exterior makeovers and characterful self build homes. Head over to Design Ideas for more.

Other new features for summer 2020 include ‘Latest News’ — helping you keep up-to-date with brilliant deals as well as breaking news impacting your project.

In the coming months, we'll also be bringing you even more expert advice, brilliant design ideas, calculators and tools to help you order the materials you need and to estimate your build costs, and product reviews.

We hope you enjoy the new-look site.
