Former Made In Chelsea celebrity Lucy Watson has revealed her home renovation project in a series of snaps on Instagram.
The 32-year-old and her husband James Dunmore have been sharing updates on how they are里诺vating the houseon her@homebylucywatsonInstagram page.
The couple bought the house around three years ago but only received the green light from planners in the summer and you can see their renovation journey here.
Planning approved for their renovation

She wrote: “WE GOT PLANNING! This was a huge milestone for us as we applied nearly two years ago and it’s been an endless back and forth to get to this point.”
“We'll keep you all updated, but we cannot wait to get started on our forever home!”
Her case shows how obtainingplanning permissionfor a large-scale renovation can be a long and expensive process.
Upcycled kitchen cabinets create a fresh look

The before image shows the slightly dated wooden cabinets with faded varnish, while the after image shows the same cabinets painted a crisp white and now combined with sleek black worktops. For a smart finishing touch, new handles have been added to the base and wall units, giving the entire space a new lease of life.
“We painted our existing cabinets to brighten up our current kitchen,” Lucy said.
“We used paint from@lickcolour white 02 on the cabinets and walls and white 01 on the ceilings."
A bedroom refresh for a calming space
The TV star also showcased her bedroom transformation to inspire her followers’master bedroom ideas.
The before picture shows a bare bedroom with navy carpet and purple blinds on the windows. The second image shows a cream carpet and new voiles – a type of curtain made with translucent fabric – to provide privacy without blocking out natural light.
Lucy wrote: “These gorgeous cream carpets from@sednacarpethave made such a difference. I decided to go with@sednacarpetbecause they are made from regenerated ocean waste ♻️ (they are also suuuper soft).
She added: “Bye bye purple blinds. Hello beautiful new voiles.”
Garden area improved for hosting guests
The outdoor space features a raised garden platform with a BBQ and fresh new furniture, which Lucy showed off with posts from their first garden party.
The furniture includes a lounger fromOkaand a modular curved dining set fromCox & Cox.
She wrote: “This set from@coxandcoxwas so comfy for all our guests and now our garden is fully set up for the summer.”
